For Sale: 12' Hewescraft Sportsman
Just throwing this out there to see if there is any interest. I have a 12' Hewescraft that I bought up on Loon Lake from a resort owner that was also a missionary in Mexico and needed some money to support an orphanage. The boat has good vibes and has served me well, but I have moved on to a bigger ...

Re: Hayden Lake Kokanee or anywhere in general
Hey joe, I will be up there fishing kokanee in Hayden Thursday to Sunday. You know how to catch Chinook in CDA? I have a 16 foot smoker craft so we could take either boat though I'd prefer mine...

Re: Chelan Kokanee Derby
Awesome fish! Looks like somebody got into some numbers, were those 24 all caught on one day? Glad the derby was a success!

Re: Downrigger Cable
So to all you braid guys... how do you feel about losing the electromagnetic field created by the cable? From what I understand the right charge attracts fish... but that humming can get on a guys nerves when the fish aren't cooperating! And to those replies about the crimps... no solder necessary? ...

Downrigger Cable
I see downrigger topics in this forum so thought this might be the place to post my question for everybody. My cable is frayed about 5 feet up the line, so I'm figuring I will just cut the cable and attach it back to the clip. It is currently has some sort of crimp/solder combo. Does anyone have any...

Re: Your Favorite Store for Fishing Tackle
For the Spokane area- I have to throw in a good word for Black Sheep in CDA with the other guys above. It is my favorite place to spend money and I never feel like I overpaid there. They've got just about everything hunting and fishing related, although I'm still getting used to the new location. Th...

Re: New Washington Walleye Record
To all concerned with the killing of the new record fish and protecting big female broodstock walleye... it seems I read an article about the new record holder... seems it said he catches many big walleye (18, 19 pound females) and releases them. He knew this one was special so he took it. All I can...

Re: Lake Chelan Kokanee Get Together RSVP LIST
Mike, will hopefully be there with a buddy but if not I may have an open seat in my boat. Will bring potato salad to the potluck, can't wait! I've seen Anton is getting them already and also hope to make a scouting trip this month

Re: Eastern Washington Fishing Buddies
Thank you for all the replies so far! This site is great. Bma- PM Sent. Just so it's publicly known however, its a little early for bass for me. From what I know they are deep and holding, and it would be a real slow venture. Would be interested to learn it though, love smallies! Rusty- Thank you fo...

Re: Boat Cover Recommendations wanted
Been through several, and the custom ones are better and usually less expensive. We had our 20' boat covered (cat-proof) for a little over $250, and it's lasted 3x as long as the Cabelas one we had, with no sign of giving up. Plus they sculpted around the electric motor where the others you had to ...

Re: Eastern Washington Fishing Buddies
Thanks Mark! I did think twice about that sentence, there have been lots of good east side reports. Just wanted to get the post out there just in case others with early spring fever decide to browse this section. As a P.S. planning on hitting lower Roosevelt to try for some early season kokes and bo...

Eastern Washington Fishing Buddies
I live on the Snake River at Lyons Ferry and its pretty hard to meet anybody new. There is a boat launch 5 minutes from my house. I plan on fishing out there a lot this spring and summer during the week and taking longer trips on weekends to places like Pot Holes, Banks and Chelan and maybe some Col...
