You're lucky as I rarely visit the forums anymore. Logged in to post a comment on a report and decided to make a quick pass through the forums.

Any major brand will be fine. Still running the same leadcore I spooled my reels with over 12yrs ago, but, I did unspool/respool so the unused half was on the outside in 2015.

I've reported this "member" several times and my last message to Mike was never answered so I gave up. Not that it matters the forum is dead anyway.

Re: Bag suggestion for chic casual lifestyle...
Quit feeding the troll guys, note the teeny tiny hypertext at bottom left of EVERY post they make. What do "phillips universal remotes" have to do with "chic bags" and what do either one of those have to do with fishing? Nothing.

Clickbait, every single post contains a link to an offsite product, see the teeny tiny hyperlink at bottom right of their post?
I reported this member to Mike last year, and their posts were deleted, now they're back doing the same thing.

Re: Need canvas for boat- Spokane area
Nice to see YOU still kicking too Bodo! I pop in once or twice a week but mostly just crickets anymore. Yep, still fishing Roosevelt every chance we get. Bought a place in Seven Bays 2013 and keep our boat there year round. I echo your sentiment on canvas work, one reason mine stays up year round an...

Re: Need canvas for boat- Spokane area
TiredMark, JMHO, but by the time you haul your boat 600+ miles and spend 10+ hrs hauling it there and back you'll be lucky to break even vs having the work done here. Take care of that Optimax and you will get good service and economy from it, annual service is extremely important to longevity and e...

Didn't notice the double post, relied to other one. I troll with 4 lines so kicker never comes out of gear, just goes to idle on hookup.

Kicker goes to idle in gear. Very, very rare for me to put in neutral.

Use some fresh fish carcasses from the same water you wish to set your traps. Used to be a guy here who made, and sold, quality traps as well as crawfished commercially. His #1 rule for bait was use fresh carcasses and never use hot dogs or canned anything.

Re: When life hands you lemons.....
Well written and I couldn't agree more! No one has a "spot" anywhere unless they actually own the property and we've all met those who think they own public property. If someone is fishing a spot I'd like to, I simply move on, as I have many "spots".
