Re: Westport Marina
Didn't get a chance last month to do any fishing in the basin, going back this weekend for Salmon Tales and to participate in the basin derby. Has any one been there lately? How is the fishing? What lures have been most effective lately? How about some jigs with hoochies or marabou? Colors? Weights?...

Westport Marina
I will be in Westport this week for a tuna trip, and will be getting to town later afternoon, but before all my buddies will be there. I planned on taking my rod and a few lures and sitting on a dock and cast for a little while until they show up. Does anyone know if there will be anything in the ma...

Honda BF45 Information?
I am looking at a boat that has a Honda bf45, and have had a terribly difficult time finding any useful information on the motors along with reviews, history, etc. Has anyone had any sort of experience with these engines? The only thing I know about them from a weeks long attempt of googling is that...

Re: Fishing Tackle for Pink Salmon
Like said above, anything in the 8-9 foot range and 8-15 lb rating. I prefer medium/fast action as I feel it gives me a better twitch to my jigs and buzz bombs. I use the fore mentioned buzz bomb set up, 2 inch pink buzz bomb, pink bead, pink uv hoochie (1.5-2 inch), bead or bump stop (I found buzz ...

Re: Point No Point & Bush Point Beach Fishing
Was at pnp yesterday. Lots of people on the shore, even more boats. Saw nothing hauled in by either method. I've heard they're in as well, it's still just a touch early. Give it another week or two and it'll be lights out

Re: Fox Island Pier
I dont think it will matter what you use, but if nothing else, you can at least get in some good casting practice :) Kings are almost always deep, so your odds of finding one near shore are slim at the best of times and these days are far from the best of times in area 13. You are more likely to fi...

Fox Island Pier
I searched for any tips and suggested times for fishing the Fox Island Pier, specifically for kings, but was unable to find anything specifically relevant to my goals. I hope some can help me steer in the right direction. I am looking to fish the Pier soon, in hopes of landing a king. Has anyone fis...

The family and I wanted to go do some clamming this weekend and next, went to the wdfw site to find an open beach, only beaches we could really find to be open had little to no available info regarding clams or any type of other shellfish. Anyone know of a decent beach within an hour drive from the ...

Re: Shore fishing Tacoma area for silvers?
Thanks for the info! How much time is to be expected to be able to fish at point defiance between the tidal movements? I know that browns point is good for the pinks, we lit it up down there last year, but how about the coho? Do they get in close enough to catch from shore? Are there any decent spot...

Shore fishing Tacoma area for silvers?
I'm just curious when and where to go for the best silver fishing in the Tacoma area. I don't have a boat yet, so am stuck with standing in the tides casting from the shore. Any ideas? Browns point? I live near Titlow, has anyone fished the Girl Scout camp from shore?
Thanks in advance!
