Re: Bluegill and Crappie
Lake Cassidy, east of Marysville, has some pretty big perch and crappie. I've also caught some nice pumpkinseed at Blackman's Lake. My dad caught a pumpkinseed as big as his hand once at Blackman's, when he was reeling it in he thought it was a baby carp or something.

Re: More politics in Puget Sound fisheries management?
It's a sad day when the resources that we the sportsman love are in jeopardy due to large business waste and some of the poorest fisheries management in the world. Kinda like our licenses and taxes.....aren't they supposed to help out game and fish rather than go in the "general fund" to pad some p...

Mukilteo Beach Fishing
Has anyone fished for humpies from the beach or from a boat at Mukilteo lighthouse park? Is it worth it to give it a shot before work? I've seen some fishermen wading there when I catch the ferry, but I wonder if its worth fishing there yet.

Re: leader length for pinks in the river
i don't fish the Puyallup, but when I fish with corks and yarn or Dick Nites in the Snohomish and Skykomish I use a 4' to 5' leader, works great. But i always prefer to use a Buzz Bomb in the Snohomish and a pink jig or spoon in the Sky.

Re: Boating the Snohomish
In case you didn't know there's an unspoken rule among the fishermen at Thomas' Eddy, boaters and bankies alike. Never plop your boat, raft, plunking gear, directly in the middle of the hole. But a great place to anchor up is just below the hole.

I was out Wednesday as well and I only saw one by the bridge. I guess no one fished the Q this weekend.

No reports for the Quil this week? Sounds "fishy".
Anyone got any news on the Big Quilcene? Are people trying to hide something? Surely fish would be here by now right?
