Re: Dream Boat
I have never seen cats like that. The cabin cruiser sounds fun, but I don't think the wife would be up for spending several days on the water or me being gone for several days. She only likes to look at the ocean, not go out on it. Seen the videos of the Life Proof boats, pretty cool. Think I would ...

Dream Boat
If you were to win the lottery tomorrow, what would be your dream boat for the sound, Columbia and big lakes and maybe even off shore?
1 for each or 1 for all?
Aluminum or Glass?

Re: Wader repairs
I saw some of that tape on Amazon. As of now they are still leaking just a bit. Both sides and my pants were damp but not soaked after an hour in the water. Thinking it is the inseam right where the boot is attached.

Re: Wader repairs
Got the clear flex seal and sprayed all around the boots and the seams up to the knees. Will be testing them tomorrow. I like the idea of filling them with water and looking on the outside for the leaks. I was planning to by a new pair and be that guy coming out of cabelas, but the wife would rather...

Wader repairs
So my waders have a leak, 1 time the boot was half full of water, another my sock and pant leg were soaked but no puddle in the boot, then next time just where I tuck my pant leg into the sock was wet, this time on both legs. Got some UV aqua seal, it helped but still after maybe an hour in the rive...

Re: Gem Lake Information?
Look up Annette lake, it is on the west side 1 exit before the pass. I have pulled a few decent trout out of there.

Re: Gem Lake Information?
The only Gem lake I know is the alpine lake above Snoqualmie pass, near Snow lake. Have not heard of anyone fishing in there, some do at snow lake with mixed results.

Re: Good King County Summer Fisheries
I agree with lost lake, but there is more bank space available if you have a 4x4. Drive past the main campground\launch and there will be a side road on the left. If you take that and keep left you come to an open parking area. I recommend unless you have a real 4x4 that you park there. It is just a...

Re: Where are the Baker Lake Sockeye?
quote] I hope there is still a good push of fish to come. I'm waiting to see how the derby goes next weekend before I commit to heading up there to try this fishery for the first time (I figure the busiest weekend on the lake isn't a good time to try to figure things out). Looking back at the past 2...

Thanks for the info. That is the one I was asking about. We already changed our plans anyway and are going to Baker lake instead.

Rufus Woods boat launches
Can anyone tell me if there is a fee for launching from the reservation side? Looking at the coyote creek launch. I haven't been able to find anything on the Colville website about fees other than a tribal permit for fishing from shore.

Re: Mirror Lake (Kittitas County) Golden Trout
Saw a few trip reports for mirror lake, looks like it is clear of snow. Lots of bugs.

Re: Mirror Lake (Kittitas County) Golden Trout
Hi Joe, I have been up there a few times, have not caught anything, did have one jump at my lure as it came out of the water, never got another follow. Fished with roostertails, flys under the clear bobber and with worms. Although the last time I didn't have as much time and it was around noon. Stil...

Re: Skagit Sockeye!
Not only are the bars not showing yet, at the train bridge, they are fishing from the parking lot. I am willing to bet even if you do hook a fish, landing it without a 10ft long net is going to be difficult. Pretty much the same at the kickball fields, fishing from the bank. Over at the boat launch ...

Cool, thanks for the info. I should be able to get shrimp in Auburn so no problem there.

Rogue River
Planning to spend a day at the Rogue on my way to California, does anyone know if it would be better around Galice, or above Grants Pass?
