Striped bass gear in Washinton?
We are relocating to Washington in the next few weeks. While packing some of my gear I realized I have a lot of striper gear...large shallow and deep diving trolling lures. I wonder if there are any species that will chase that type of gear in Washington rivers? (Columbia?) See you out there, Mooseb...

Chelan June 9, 10, 11
We finally made it to Chelan to start or 2 weeks of WA. We arrived Monday afternoon and launched at Mill Bay. What a great ramp! I headed to Manson and found our slip at the city Parks and Recreation dock. This is truly a 1st class operation. Nice slips, electricity, and restrooms with showers. You ...

Re: Chelan kokanee
We fish a lot shallower here...50-100 ft and we usually do ok with mono...braided seems kidna slick and popped out MORE when we tried running some 10# at about 120 ft. When you are fishing so deep why do you need such long setbacks? Over 50 ft deep and I'm usually only about 20-25 feet back. See you...

Re: Summer visit to WA?
Actually I think I said the plans wrong...We hope to get a home base in Spokane for a week and do any day trips to CDA, etc and tent it for a couple of nights each at 2 or 3 other lakes for another week or so if we can. We'll probably hit Chelan either on the way there or going home? See you out the...

Summer visit to WA?
My wife and I are planning to retire to the Spokane area in the next couple of years. We are going to spend a couple of weeks fishing the area this summer. We have a 19 ft Fishrite and 4 scotty elec downriggers...we fish for trout, koke, and salmon a lot...on a good year 50 times. We are regulars at...
