RE:Angle Lake Dock Closed
That sign has been there for years. If I remember right it runs from Fathers Day(June)until Labor Day (September) the dock is closed to fishing from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM to give the swimmers a chance to enjoy the dock.

RE:How Do You Setup A "Corky" And Yarn?
I see this question on setting up basic rigging all the time. The best thing I found is a book by Bill Herzog called Color Guide to Steelhead Drift Fishing. I bought it for my son about 8 years ago when he started drift fishing and it was a great help. Goes over reading water, basic rigging, bait, d...

I don't think it is the cool weather as much as the falling barometer puts the fish off the bite. I have been keeping track of this in my fishing notebook and I do a lot better when the barometer is steady or rising.

Sorry Sam right after I posted the offer on the pontoon a friend called and asked if I still wanted to sell it so he is on the way over to pick it up. I would go for a pontoon over a float tube you are up out of the water and you can get around better with oars then use flippers to hold your positio...

No the rod I got is a single hand rod. I know what you need for a good steelhead rig I have a 4wt. and a 6wt. set up that I fish now. I just thought that the rod and reel bought at the garage sale were cool because they are old and because Sears no longer makes or sells fishing gear anymore and has ...

Some times fish are left high and dry after high and dry after high water. And some fishermen are just slobs leave bait containers and and tackle wrapers laying on the s...
