I grew up on the Trinity and fished the pizz out of it, still go back every so often just to hammer the steel and salmon. Hit up Travis at: http://sweet-trinity.com/index.html I grew up with him fishing the Trinity and other local waters. He knows the Trinity better than anyone else around there. Ge...

Greater Yellowstone FlyFishers or Fins and Feathers have well seasoned guides. All are very well educated on the local rivers. GYFF is your best bet for the Park, Chad, the owner, grew up and guided exclusively in the Park for many years out of Cook City, MT, before moving the shop to Bozeman. He st...

On a side note...My wife hates when I go "Carp shooting" because she can't get the blood out of my clothes come laundry day. Get a spray bottle and fill it with hydrogen peroxide. Give bottle to the wife and tell her to spray the blood areas with it before she washes the cloths, duck from flying sp...

fish4brains - Unfortunately, Liberty's been closed to fishing since Oct 31 and won't reopen until March 1. Wealthy lakeside homeowners won't want to ice skate into 10" holes. Thanks Jay. Right after my post I went and looked at the regs then went, D'oh! That is lame since the ice fishing on that th...

Jay. In regards to the Walleye, I do know that Liberty has a good population of them. I have been thinking about trying them through the ice but have no idea how to go about it. I may have to google it and give it a whirl. Anyone know how the ice is on Liberty?

Second hand info. The point has been fishing well with ice over 6" as well as the power lines. Pretty much your typical baits have been producing. Rumor has it some really giant fish have been biting. The bite has been best from 4am to sun up though. Awfully pushy for a noob don't you think? Contrib...

Makes sense guys. I am usually only re-drilling a couple inches. I guess I should pay more attention to re-drilling even though I carry spare blades with me. Rather be fishing than changing blades!

Hmmm, works fine for me and never broke a blade. Re-drilled 10 holes this weekend, 100's in the past without issue. Maybe bad juju or something?

Way to go G-Man!! I cannot believe more people from this forum have not stepped up and fished that spot. You wetsiders are slacking. If this would of happened over here, it would be boat to boat mayhem by now. Now sack up and throw a "derby" on that location. Oh, and come back and post a TR. 3 day w...

[quote="loucipher"]Been reading here awhile and have noticed a growing trend of honey holes and stealers. I thought this was a pro Seattle forum, and not a Pittsburgh one. Some people on here should be ashamed. Riding the coat tails of others, abusing their spots... and sometimes even crossing those...
