I normally have one in the boat with me. If you are looking at 9 mm maybe you should look at a 40 cal also they have more punch then a 9 mm with the magazine capacity of the 9mm.

You may need to Choke the motor when starting it in the cold. Not sure how easy it starts for you now.

I'm from Missouri and have fished the rivers some. This time of the year the catfish are sluggish water is still alittle cool for them. But you can get into some good walleye and white bass. Fish rip-rap and below the locks.

I was last out there around the 6th of Sept and the guy who works there at that ramp said they were shutting it day around the 8th to start in on the repairs. I haven't been out there to check on how things are going.
