this pond is on the church camp property and is just a little farm pond, not in port orchard, although there is a church camp in port orchard that is on a decent sized lake called lake flora. Havent tried to fish it yet.

saw my biggest trout today
Was at a church camp this weekend for a retreat and saw a kid pull an 8.5lb 26in rainbow. I was amazed. Of course this is a private stocked pond but it was still a monster. another kid pulled out a 7.7lb 24in bow.

I have to unintentionally forget something so that i dont spend the whole time worrying about what i forgot. I can't do it intentionally because then i am just mad at myself. This has led to me trying new techniques with positive and negative results. I also have my vest.

Also on Fort Lewis North Post is Sequilichew. It has some bigguns in it. Seen some, caught and released a couple. be better if you had a no gas motor boat or float tube. lots of structure and food for bass.

I am a big fan of the spinner bait. I use a black or a green/blue skirt. I use other baits and have caught fish on them but i can cover alot of water and use spinnerbaits different ways. My buddy goes to rooster tails when all else fails.

I would also try square lake in south kitsap. I have caught some small ones with a worm with the kids. also heard wicks lake has some keepers.
