Ya, I only got 3, couple 2 1/2 Smallies, and a 6" Largie. One guy there caught 5 and had a 4lbder.

I've had my 8' Livingston for a year and 4 1/2 months. Haven't even had it in the water, yet. It has a 6 horse gas motor, but I haven't gotten an electric for it, yet, maybe this summer.BassinBomber wrote:Nice,..hey at least we weren't skunked,..lol,..BF and I are taking our Livingston on her maiden voyage this Sunday to our secret lake,..looks like it's loaded with bass,..hopefully we'll do well!Amx wrote:Ya, I only got 3, couple 2 1/2 Smallies, and a 6" Largie. Are the bass still on beds at Sawyer? All the beds around the resort were vacant but seen quite a few Bluegill locked on!

Hey BB, I'm pretty sure lake WA is currently closed (as of May 1st, see WDFW news release)...along with Lakes Union and Sammamish. Sounds like there are a lot of people still out fishing though. I've seen a few on Sammamish.BassinBomber wrote:A little Lake Washington Rock Bass caught on a Drop Shot set up,..fished around I-90 with BassFanatic this morning to kill some time,..a few hits but nothing landed except for this Rock Bass,..didn't even know they were in here,..seen 3 HUGE Grass Carps cruising along the wall towards the swimming hole,..things were GINORMOUS! Sure thing. I think a lot of people are unaware. Unless you got the WDFW email notice or saw the forum threads then it's really not being advertised anywhere I can see. Nothing is posted at Lake Samm State Park and I see plenty of people fishing, but there doesn't seem to be any enforcement on the closure that I can tell.BassinBomber wrote: Wow,...thank you I had no clue,..good to know though! Look forward to more of your pics from other lakes though.

Got out Saturday with a friend at Lake Sawyer. Landed this 4lb 13oz Small Mouth just before leaving for the day. Naturally my buddy stayed (with his boat) and continued to fish- landing a few over a pound. All in all it was a tough day but dang This Made Up For It! Blurred out of respect for my friend.

Two busy, and too short, couple days, but great results. Congrats on the Biggie Biggies.

Had time to spare so I went to our Secret Pond to see if the Spawn was still in affect,..sure enough it was,..the lake is fed from an under water spring so it stays pretty cold,..nabbed a 3.4 LMB off a bed,..seen some Big Girls cruising but couldn't capture their interest,..stayed for 45 minutes then bailed,..tight lines!
