Being up here in Everett, I wont be able to make that commute. I see that me and only two others are from north of seattle.

A permanent meeting place has not been determined as of yet. This was my quickest place to grab a hold of so hopefully in the future we will be able to centrally locate better. We will post an update about the club about what happened with the meeting and maybe you will be able to catch the meeting next month.

Baby was due last Monday, still not here yet..#-o Right now, mamma says "oh! You've been so good with the inlaws, you should go.:sunny: " But I know better than to commit to anything right now:-$ .

Anyway, I want to and will try to make it. Maybe some of us from Seattle & north can hook up and carpool.

Great Gringo ... I will put you down as if you are going. Let me know if it changes just so I can try and keep a semi accurate count. Well that is what the voices in my head are saying anyways.

Just to let everyone know - I'm in the process of building a website for the fishing club. I'm not sure if it will be functional by the weekend of the first meeting but either way we'll make sure everyone gets the info we discuss, either on the website or in an email. Right now it's all discussion phase stuff, so you won't miss anything major if you can't attend. Later in the year we'll have more in-depth meetings to make final plans for the rest of the year and focus on next year, so by then we're hoping to have a regular location that we can meet at.

Can't wait to see it Aaron and thanks again for all the hard work! I have added a blog entry with a little more information and the address of the meeting location. Looking forward to both warm weather and seeing everyone on the 28th!

I don't have a float tube, but do fish a lot of the same lakes as yall since I have a little bass hunter w/ trolling motor. So I would like to meet w/ yall out on the water sometime.

Looking forward to it :)

Jay or AaronE I was going to shop a little before hand since I don't get down that way too much. How far is Cabela's from where we are meeting? And what other good fishing stores are in the area? I guess I should say stores specifically geared toward bass or with good bass gear selection.

Thanks.

Cabela's is between 45 minutes to an hour from Spanaway if I remember correctly. SPORTCO in Fife has a good inventory of all things fishing, boating, etc..., and is on your way down from the Seattle area.
