Drop shots are good .. deep diving crank baits / look for shallow water that is near deeper water ...BBD

bigbass Dezz gots it. drop shot a 3 inch senko or a 3 inch goby around any structure especially rocks near deep water will produce very well, docks are also very good in the summer for smallies and largemouth alike

Yamamoto grubs, and cranks in pech or crawdad color seem to work good.

Ya, it's called the boat ramp before the boats get there. There's also a small dock on the Bellevue / Redmond side at the beach area. Haven't tried it. The boat ramp has some nice lilly pads that are reachable....you'll find me there changing lures every 30 seconds or so and saying mean things to the fish.FishingFool wrote:Lake Sammamish has a public fishing dock? My favorite lure for smallmouth in clear water, like Sammamish, is a 2-3 inch grub fished on a lead head. Avocado and white are good colors.
A nice bass is too valuable a resource to enjoy catching only once.
