I'm using the Strike King Flats jighead in 1/2 oz. and the Revenge Swimbait Head in 3/4 oz. and 1 oz. Also, don't let the water sports discourage you from fishing an area (unless it becomes unsafe). My experience is that heavy boat traffic only makes the swimbait bite better.

Good luck!
Have not used the strike king but do use the R.H. So the 1/2oz is ur reasoning of what over the R.H..sink rate?Or does the RH not come in 1/2..No i didnt look..man i need a bigger boat then Tired of drinking wake water:-& No not that bad did for my first time though on sammy"crazy"

Sometimes the picture can make the fish look smaller or bigger.

6 pounds 14 oz on a certified scale, back about '90.

2 fish that look compleatly different can weight the same. Last summer I caught 2 largemouth from the same lake, but different areas, 2 days apart. One early in the morning and 1 late at night.

One was 22 1/2" long and a 'streamlined' body. The other was 21 inches long and looked like the rear of the 'main body' had been cut off almost square and a tail attached, with a 'stubby snout'.

They both weighed 5.7 pounds. I had to test my digital scale to be sure it wasn't stuck on 5.7 :-)

Then you can have 2 fish exactly the same length, measurement around the girth and have different weights. That can be because the 'meat'/muscles can be more solid on one fish and flabby on the other. The more solid fish will weight more.

Then what the fish has been eating, or not have eaten anything, can make the fish weight different.

Just means it's a tossup what the bass weighs compared to it's 'looks'.

Oh ya, the camera angle and the camera settings, and the size of the person holding the fish, and how the fish is being held makes a difference also.

Another awesome fish there JWerner. When I first looked at it I thought it swallowed your arm ... LOL.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.
