Topwater Bait Recommendations?
I have been fishing this small pond in lakewood (ward lake) for a few months now. It is full of largemouths, some good sizes, most 1/2 pound-1 pound or so. I am starting to notice more and more bass jumping, surfacing ect. What topwater bait do you recommend? Thanks!
RE:Topwater Bait Recommendations?
Also, you can see pics of the lake in the "Help Build The Lake Index Photo Library" thread. Look on the very last page at the bottom.

Well I looked into the tiny torpedo, looks like a great lure. What other stores would have it beside cabelas? Cabelas is just too long of a drive. Would sportco or walmart have them. I know walmart has a GREAT selection of rapalas, but I don't know about anything else.
RE:Topwater Bait Recommendations?
Should/might. Maybe call them. Auburn Sports and Marine had them.

Oh yeah I'v seen that place a few times. I might stop by there this weekend.

Better bring a credit card or a pocket full of cash. Auburn sports is like a small BPS. Just about everything you want they have. Real nice guy`s to. Ant questions just ask and they will be glad to pair you with your fishing needs. Wow I sound like sponsership.

Good stuff,..cast along side weed beds and anywhere there is an open pocket in the cabbage,..vary your retrieve and hold on,..a lot of work though so be prepared 2 have some sore arms,..continuious reeling makes for a long day but the strikes make it all worth while!nickbell wrote:Hmm, double blade?

Im just not sure about buzzbaits. They seem to big for the bass in that little pond. Are there any really small buzzbaits out there?BassinBomber wrote:Good stuff,..cast along side weed beds and anywhere there is an open pocket in the cabbage,..vary your retrieve and hold on,..a lot of work though so be prepared 2 have some sore arms,..continuious reeling makes for a long day but the strikes make it all worth while!nickbell wrote:Hmm, double blade?
