Well no giants to start out the year, but with the mild temps since mid January Ive been finding a few fish. Bites been up and down with the temps, but they are out there to ne caught if you have the patience.

That's awesome to see bass like that being caught in February. I just moved to western Washington from the Utah/Idaho border and I'm used to lakes being frozen for a couple more months. I'm pretty excited by the prospect of catching bass all winter. The frustrating thing is that the moving company screwed up and all my fishing gear is in a warehouse somewhere waiting for a driver to get it here Can't wait to get out and do some exploring though.

Here's a 3.94 lb Smallmouth caught on 2/15. Caught 3 total that day including a small one around 1 lb or so and a 3.37 lber. My buddy caught 7.

First one of the year off the BFS rod. Caught about 2 weeks ago when we had 45° air temps. Water was 46° that day here in Kitsap co.

Congrats. Hopefully some day I'll get a fish. Saw a fish behind my crankbait the other day. Had a bite today same spot, same lure. I'm getting closer.

Just shy of 6. Caught two smaller fish as well. Ill take it for post fronal conditions and snow on the ground when I launched!
