I`m headed to lake kapowsin with the kids.Good times. Hope it`s not to busy since it`s an all year lake. But if it is oh well. Kids will have fun It`s all about the next generation. As well as me catching fish.

I gonna hit Williams! But not on opening day.... too much hassel. Thurs the 29th sounds much better, less boat traffic & less chance of running into undesireables. Hope my motor is fixed buy then though. It went out on newman yesterday & I had to row from the back 40 to the public launch, whew... whatta workout!!

Amen, the weather dosnt look too great anyway for the opener. You are almost obligated to stick it out through the conditions after logging 4 hours in the truck plus a couple hundred for just gas. But not locally, 15 min trip and $50 on petro you can throw in the towel whenever, or at least in theory. Usually end up getting just a soaked, but its a nice feeling to have the comfort of home right around the corner........

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

After i make my first cast , giving up is a non option unless i see lighting ..haha

Iv fished in some crazy conditions ! i mean CRAZY conditions before , thats just part of tourney fishing ! I still enjoy telling the story of the day that Ryan and I almost died twice in the same day on washington , attemtping to fish with 4ft whitecaps is not a wise thing to do , trust on this one ...

But Rain is no prob !! Iv fished in heavy rain pour from 5:30am -2pm nonstop before .. sucks ! but not as bad as high winds IMO

Yup, nothing like tooling across Potholes racing to your fishing spot in high winds and 4-6 ft waves, at speed bouncing from wave top to wave top. Tournies will bring out the daredevil in most anyone. Then trying to stand up as the boat is tilting side to side a couple feet. Image Caught a fish vertical fishing a worm and my backseater asked me how the heck I could feel the bite. Image

Went to kapowsin with the kids caught two 18" nice bows real fat.Couple small guys and thatwas it real hit and miss. Fished for bass all morning couple bits. Only seen one caught about a three#. Still to cold I think it was caught in a cove. Weather was cold windy rainy and huge hail.

Went to pine lake. They added two poles at the launch to prevent trailers for boats. Which makes it very hard to launch a small boat.

if everyday was a good day there would be alot more fisherman.

do you mean they just blocked it so you can't launch big (trailer sized) boats?
