Has anyone here fished the many ponds and sloughs in the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, or nearby locations (Lake River or Mud L.)? I plan on fishing it soon, was wondering what experiences people have had out there, or heard about that place from other anglers. Thanks in advance!:)

I don't think you are allowed to fish anywhere in the refuge. I've heard those ponds and lakes are loaded with bass but you cannot fish them. if you hear any diff. please let me know.

Carty unit is open to fishing. Check the website
Every time I've been there the water has been super muddy...

No one? No SW Washington anglers on the board that have ever fished this area?

Fishing isn't that great in the limited areas on the refuge. You're better off to go to one of the local lakes.
