Just wondering did you measure girth and length on that steelie? cause 20 pounds is a huge fish and this one looks more like 14-16. unless the picture just makes it looks smaller...

I did not get the girth of the fish, but however i got the length of the fish wich was 39 1/2 , it is not uncommon of pulling out 20 pound steelhead from the wynoochee, honestly i thought it was 18 but the guide said it was 20....

My trip to the Coast Saturday. We went 6 for 12 as a foursome. Releasing a Native and a Downriver. I went 1/6 on bobber and jigs. I also caught my first Dolly Varden(2). I tied up a new pattern the night before and after dinking around with bobber and eggs all morning I tied up a jig landing 1. Pretty frustrating. I am not sure if I was using a bad batch of Fluoro or what, but I am still stinging for losing that many fish.

No crowds and no flossing. My kind of river..

It's not your fault. It isn't very intuitive and I was just fortunate that another member posted how to do it.

First, on the YouTube page for the video there is a link under the video player to "share". Click on that and copy the code.

Second, on our forum post form on the far right is a code box that says "youtube". Click on it and this appears in your post:

Now, take the share code you copied, in this example it's:

http://youtu.be/p-Qhx-RjnLs" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Remove all the code except what comes after the "/":

p-Qhx-RjnLs

This code is placed in-between the brackets:
(with no spacing between the brackets though)

And Ta Da!

Way to go Slayeroffdahookfishtrap!! I like your set up. It looks like it is an ingenious idea! I knew if you put in the time and read what others have done to be successful, you would get a picture on this board! Way to go! Congratulations! Is this your first Steelhead ever in your life? How were you able to see your float in the dark? I know, I know. If you don't want to tell everyone your secret, we understand. Good for you slayeroffdahookfishtrap!!
