Skykomish River Twitchin Jigs
What are some hot colors for the skykomish river coho twitchin jigs? i gotta tie up some jigs for the season!

While there is no single correct answer on this, Pink, Purple, and Cerise are three good colors to start with. Combo colors are good too. Pink/white, purple/black, pink/purple, etc. Experiment and have fun. You can also save a lot of money and time by just making a bunch of hoochie jigs. You can probably find several other threads on this topic as well.

pink Cerise purple and red black, blue black if they have been in a while. oh yeah red for bright sun.

I like orange/red or pink. Looks like a sand shrimp for coho or steel.

1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 are my favorites and probably what you are after. remember fish them with 20 lb braid and a spinning rod

Here is some of my favorite patterns. 3/8 oz seems to work best. i cast out into the current and dont reel. just do a short pop about every second or so and let it drift down stream. they will hammer it.

Top ones always been my go to color for Coho.. I do like the little bunny tails!!!! Killers I'm sure.
