An old man once told me that if you stick a worm on a hook drop it over the bank you can feed your self for life. I tried it modified it and geez I am beating them off with a broom now.

Is 20 pound mono sufficient for kings? My guides on the rod can't handle braid.

I tried last year and only caught a jack. Many of the fish enter pretty colored up unless we get some rain. Good luck if you try I like out tide before it gets too low.

Hey all, I'm new to the area. Moved here from the midwest a bit ago.

I work near 277th street where it crosses the Green River. Do the fish make it up near there? Is there anything in there aside from salmon for after the run is over?

Thanks much.

Yes fish do make it up to 277th and beyond. Salmon and steelhead make it all the way up to the tacoma headwaters. Other fish include troat and bullheads and um those white fish (suckers). You are open up to 277th to fish but there are rules to follow so read up on the regs. Good luck

Thank you very much for the reply! I finally got a set of waders last night so I'll be headed out this week when I can.

Tight lines!
