I have a buddy who goes on saturdays and he said hes in line at 3 am to get a good spot at the dam outlaw, but im not sure what the rest of the area looks like people wise, been fish caught tho!

yeah I fish up by the dam but in between the guys on the rocks and the guys tossing eggs to the other side and then the long line from up top to the boat launch can be shoulder to shoulder, crowds really start to disappear as the water becomes lower though but fishing is slow at that time too.

thanks guy's for the report. think my buddy and I will wait another week and see if the springers inprove. will go to Black lake this weekend and throw some woolly buggers at the trout. keep us informed about barrier and how the springers are doing. thanks

Crappy picture but i was in a bit of a rush. Had to be home by 8am this morning so I hit reiter real quick to get back in touch with my inner steelhead. Second cast and another fish fell to the Nightmare pattern. Popped the gills and hoofed it back up to the rig, back home by 730! There is quite a few fishing milling around in that hole. might have to run up again tomorrow
