Northwest Fishing Reports

I know it's a bit early still, but anyone pulling in any steelies out of the waters yet?

Weird i was just dreaming of those! Haha I cant wait till they start showing up in good numbers

I know they're in the Queets system already as of two weeks ago. I can't wait for 'em either. I heard that it's really spotty at reiter on the sky, but there are a few. There are always some sorta steelhead on the Cowlits, the summers trickle in until the winters start showing, but the moment that they show up in force you won't be able to chain me to my desk at home during the hours of daylight. Heheh.

The upper sky will on the norm from what trips ive been up there will see at least one fish. Normally better than the whole wallace. But then again im normally on the wallace so what do i know. If i had a easy way up there i would fish every chance i could but sadly i only have like one friend that fishes the rivers up there with me

I hope to do a scouting trip this Saturday.....we will see how that goes.

We were out on the Callawah in Forks two weeks ago and the Steelhead in there were still summer / fall run. The winter run, for the Oly Pen at least, should be trickling in here towards the end of the month.

Yeah. I'm looking to get out there and fish the bogy in December.

I'm looking forward to something that will bite! Haven't heard of winters on the sky yet, should be around the corner.

Try Penninsula rivers. They are pulling out some Steel right now. With this rain winter steel will be comming in.

14 so far have made it to the hatchery on the Cascade and I have heard of a couple others that were caught up there.

Yeah that run went way down hill from yester year. Wouldnt waste any time heading all the way out to the Bogey for some fish that wont be there, esp around december - february.

WOW, When did you last go. I was there last december and you couldn't keep them off the hook! It was like pinks were in the river I saw a fish landed every 5 to ten minutes. Maybe it's just a shorter run but it was far from dead.

Yeah Scott and I were being very sarcastic. Oly pen will be hot come end of november into december.
