Winter on the coast

Every winter my family and I rent a cabin on the washington coast after x-mas this year we are doing it near Pacific beach and i was wondering what kind of river salmon/steelhead fishing there is to be had during that time. thanks

The closest sure shot to there would be the Humptulips, which is a safe bet for steelhead a nd a lot of fun. Then the quinault to the north and wynoochee to the east.

Depending upon the regs (haven't looked lately), the Satsop, Little Hoquiam, & Wishkah are also near by.

Or you can fish surf perch right from Pacific Beach, Moclips, etc.

last year we tried for surf perch but we did not have any luck do they even lie around here during the winter
