I plan on hitting it before the butt crack of dawn. I am guessing since its only open to the hwy 9 bridge its going to closely resemble contact - combat fishing. A lot of boats and bank anglers packed into a very small stretch. I have heard that there are already a few fish pushing through. I wouldn't go in expecting a 30 minute limit.

Yes I was. I was fishing from Rotary Park. I saw quite a few people from the bank and out in boats. Didnt see any fish landed.

Yes most of the access points are pretty snaggy. Definately have to be prepared to donate some gear to old man river. Guy next to me went through everything he brought in about an hour. 5-6 lures I believe. I made a few donations myself.

it is early for the pinks in the snoho, the only possible saving grace would have been if like everything else this year the run started early.

Kayak can be decent. Not as many fish usually, but still decent fishing, and my experience says they usually are a week or 2 behind other marine areas. It's a smaller area than many so it can be crowded quick with beachgoers. The fish there are headed for the Stilly.
