Skokomish Fishing and Camping

Post by DannyL » Sun Aug 16, 2015 10:14 am

So it looks like ill be heading down to try for some Chinook on the Skok. Thinking of camping at Twanoh State Park and fishing Tuesday and Wednesday. Now if I am wrong please correct me, you have to be below highway 106 Monday thru Friday? Never fished there before.

I believe you cant fish above the 106 mon-thurs. Quite a few holes you can access around the mouth area. Youll see where everyone parks. Fairly slow today. Eggs in the morning can be killer! Spinners in tide water are effective as well.

Personally I just can't figure that river out, Been down there three times this season and not a bite, and it goes the same for everyone else besides the snaggers. I've heard so much about this river and the huge schools of kings but can't seem to find any for myself [glare]

Thats my problem, I don't get there that early becuase I'd have to wake up at 2 in the morning! I'm not a coffee drinker so I don't think I could manage that lol.
