That's one seriously freckledand colored cutt. Are they like that year round in Long Lake or just when it is time to spawn?

Sweeeet! That is one beautiful cutty...the coloration is worthy of a good replica! Gringo caught a dandy on the Sky when I was with him too...nature at it's best!

G-man, I only fish for them in winter months so I can't say for sure. I know that all the bigger fish always seem to color up some and I've caught a few in years past that were golden brown. My guess it's a spawning thing. One thing too...they were all shallow, in 1-4 feet near the shore.

Good looking Cutt Dood. I think I'll grab the float tube and head out there.We're doing well on the Cutts in the salt near Poulsbo. Had a lot fun at Leland with ya this summer will have to visit Cady next?

i caught some beautiful giant 20plus inch searun cutts on a creek today, check out river fish pictures in river forum for pics of them
