8/1 Chelan family trip.. Koks biting this time of year?

Post by mymannin » Fri Jul 29, 2016 9:21 am

I'm heading to lake Chelan Sunday 7/30 for the week.. I'm taking the Bayliner for some water fun but debating if it is worth my time to take the downriggers and trolling gear.. Is there any decent fishing this time of year other than the lake trout?? Just looking for some family friendly fishing. I've done that before but and my new boat/downrigger setup is not very good for 150ft plus.. Thanks for your help!!

Absolutely they will bite this time of year. Take your gear and fish, you won't need to fish over 75 feet deep. Good luck and hope you and your family have a great time and catch a ton fish.

plus everyone is off chasing sockeye and kings, so other than the pleasure boaters and jet skis the lake is all yours. :)
