Where to donate new/almost-new tackle?

Post by wlai » Sun Nov 27, 2022 3:31 pm

I've accumulated a lot of tackle and rigs (salmon, steelhead, bass, etc.) that I no longer will use, and instead of selling them (a major hassle) I'd like to just donate them to a veteran or junior fishing group to put them in good use. Anyone has a recommendation for such a group that will accept donation?

Thanks!

Try the Pogey Club, my wife's grandparents used to help out with some of their fishing activities, they were in Bremerton. Might be similar ones in other locations.

Maybe a Boy's and Girl's Club. Ask at a grade school, Little League, places like that.
