I'll be the first to admit that I am an ignoramus when it comes to anything beyond baiting a hook or attaching a lure to my snap-swivel or directly to the line.
Anybody here care to enlighten me as to what the heck a trailer is, and what/how to rig my sinkers, weights, and beads? Everytime I am at the tackleshop I am dumbfounded by all the different types of weights (bottom bouncers, sliders, casting...) I honestly only have experience with jig heads and split shot.
Its a sad state of affairs when I could harness the power of the atom in the Navy, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to successfully/properly setup my gear. I have scoured the internet and most of the info is pretty vague or unclear. If you have some pictures/diagrams it would very helpful. I hope I am not the only one with these questions...

Watch fishing programs on TV. I have learned about every rig from Bill Dance and Hank Parker. Check your local movie rental place too. Early Saturday mornings have a lot of shows on.
