I will be home next week for spring break
and I was wondering where and how people were doing for bass, panfish, trout, etc... just looking for some ideas on where to go and what to fish for when I get home... any help would be great!!! anywhere within a couple hour drive or so would be the best... please let me know.

Methow is still open until end of March. A couple huors drive but there are still good reports of guys catching steelhead out there. They are pretty colored up though and you're requierd to keep hatchery fish so bust out the smoker and you're good to go!
Also "Fish Lake" is a place I've been really wanting to visit...

ya I have seen that has been pretty good... looking for some other stuff... would like to go there but I do not know if the ice is off yet or not....

No ice on the methow. River running good and the banks are snow free. Was there last weekend for a family thing.

sounds like the Methow is a good option for steelhead... how about panfish, bass, walleye or trout? mostly lakes probably possibly the columbia? anything going on with those?

Dunno how far you are looking to travel but Rufus Wood is always a great bet for trout this time of year (or any, really)

From shore just above chief joseph dam or brandts landing is another good option.... once your done there head up to banks or rosevelt... make the loop back to wenatchee! Get your trout fix and bass fix. Granted... Lots of driving

Rufus Woods would be your best choice for big fish. The Quincy WRA lakes opened March 1st and have plenty of fish. Dusty Lk is a pretty lake to walk into. If you're looking for an out of the way lake without a crowd of people. Rat Lk near Brewster should be ice free and some decent fish. It was killed off 3 years ago and should have some nice fish now. I'm thinking of heading that way on Wed. Lots a good fishing all over that area. Banks Lk is always good too.
PS Edit: Fish Lake is still frozen btw.

There is a launch just above Chief Joseph Dam and one at Seatons Grove (upper end of RW).
