What do you bring to drink and or snack on when out on the rivers and lakes?
I do alot more hiking / exploring to get away from people.

BEER and an ocassional bottle of water. No food. Especially banannas. Eating takes up too much fishing time, and banannas are bad luck while fishing.

JERKY and something to drink. Snack bars of some kind regularly go and sometimes string cheese, but always JERKY!

I stock up on bottles of water given out at work meetings
and keep a Costco box of Power Bars on the shelf in the garage next to my gear. In November I also end up with a bunch of chocolate to go with my coffee for winter fishing.
I also like the dried mangos and dried cherries you get at Costco.

It all depends..... on who I'm fishing with. Normally a selection of beverages, from waters to sodas and a selection of beers and wine. Sometimes the cooker comes and we will heat the meal du jour, tamales, tacos, stew, pulled pork or maybe chili more often than not we will have deli sandwiches and some other nibblies on the side. My personal favorite is a nice assortment of sushi with beer or wine. For early in the morning we normally do bite size muffins or doughnut holes and a few gallons of coffee and some juices. Of course if we have any youngsters on board some cookies, crackers and cheese and other little nibblies. Drop the pick; put a table cloth on the dog house and good to go.
Absolutely no reason on earth you can't have a little civility while out fishing. It's not always about bringing home the most, it's about the trip.

Mt. Dew and Dr. Pepper. Sardines, Smoked Salmon or steelheads, and Doritos or Cheesy Poofs. Sardines are my favorite, just ask Mike, he always makes a face. When I'm not working, I bring a nice heffewiezen.

2 water bottles or 1 water, 1 Sobe Coconut Lifewater
1 Powerbar granola bar or 1 Promax Protein bar.
Sometimes, a small box of chewy candy. No chocolate because they always melt on me.
This will last me 7 hours until my next meal.

Always granola bars, water and pop and sometimes cheese, crackers, sardines, jerky or sandwiches depending on the mood and time to get ready. Oh, and once in awhile some Cheetos.

Depends on if I'm on the boat or fishing the bank. When I'm on the boat I usually bring a giant bottle of water, two sandwiches, chips, an orange rockstar recovery, a cheap cigar (I pull this out when I haven't gotten bit for a while, works most of the time) and a pack of smokes. When I'm fishing the bank it's usually a smaller bottle of water, a piece of smoked salmon or steelhead, and a cliff bar.

Now we're talkin!! I normally bring a few tasty stoges as well. They're a must for a day on the water.
