Hello everyone
After reading this posting Wife and I drove up to Roses and it is ice free and the planters are biting. We only cast for 15-20 minutes, and caught 4 and hooked a couple more. We were using silver/blue Kastmaster, and a firetiger Krocodile from shore. Turned them back to swim for another day. They were 10-11 inch plants, but plenty fat and fiesty.
All the shore spots were taken so we just found a spot to cast through the trees and toulees, and also saw several fish taken with bait in the short time we were there.
Drove by Dry and Wapito, and both were ice free also.
Be safe and tight lines
