I am looking forward to the Sportsmens Shows & thinking about a new boat.
Ive been looking at the Tracker Boats online & I think they have the lowest prices
for a package deal. I am looking at the 16ft. deep V models.
Does anyone out there have a Tracker Boat or any expierence with them? I would
like to hear any comments about them............

RE:Tracker Boats
alum bass tracker, or a fiberglass Tracker bass boat?
ive fished many Tracker bass boats, very very nice.
Skeeter is a bit more stable, but tracker is stable dont get me wrong.
basstrackers ill never fish again, i love my skeeter:bigsmurf:
now im a big guy so stability and room to move is very important, my list is Skeeter then Ranger then Tracker.
now Lowe makes a nice boat too!

RE:Tracker Boats
I bought a new 17 foot, deep V Bass Tracker in 1985. I still have and it has been a great fishing boat. Mine has a 50 Merc on the back and a Merc Thruster Plus on the front.
A nice bass is too valuable a resource to enjoy catching only once.

My buddy bought a Pro Team 175 a few months ago. It is a pretty dang nice little aluminum bass boat. The only complaint about that boat was the trolling motor they come with. Complete junk! It broke after about 5 trips. On a good note though, he bought a new Minn Kota Maxxum, and called Tracker to complain about the crappy motor it had come with, and Tracker actually reimbursed him for his new motor! That is what I call good customer service. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Tracker boats.

I got an 01' bass tracker, Pro 170 series. So far so good, the only thing is the fish finder is going nuts. I guess it's a good excuse to get a color upgrade. Never had any problems with trolling motor.

Tracker boats are good entry level bass boats with a decent price tag. For most Northwest bassers it's really all the boat you'll ever need unless you get real serious about tournament fishing. Paired with a new Mercury, it's a good way to go. BTW, if you decide to order one, get the largest motor the boat is rated for.
