Not yet...Don't need them until about september...We sold our 19' Campion, and don't plan on getting a new boat until '08, so yea we are going to have to outfit that thing with DR's pretty soon..

Well don't have much room for rod storage...Those rods actually stay put pretty well like that, but I might try and figure something out for rod storage...

i bought this boat last fall off a buddy of mine who was a big wakeboarder. he had this swim platform custom-made so he'd have enough room to sit and put on all his gear. my kids are too young (2 & 5) for boarding, so we mostly do a lot of cruising. AND, of course, i love it for fishing! my buddy hangs out and fishes from the open bow and i have 15-20 sqft to walk around and cast from and net our catches!!

downside... can't mount a kicker motor by traditional means. wouldn't take much to mount an electric to the swim platform. don't think i'll go with the bow mount since my kids like to ride up front.

upside... how did i ever fish w/out a stereo and cupholders before? a cold brew and some old skool country (102.3 is the best!!) and this trout cowboy is right at home! storage under the floor for rods & tackle boxes. wakeboard tower makes for a great place to hang a net, lean a rod or steady your sea legs when you walk around.

to-do list: rod holders, fish finder (have a depth finder, that helps some), electric trolling motor, lights on the tower for night fishing/trailering.

hey sam, i have an old aluminum boat that was my grandfathers and it has a bench going across the back end instead of the separate ones you have on each side. yours is a much smarter setup since to more comfortably steer the boat i usually straddle the bench. is that a lund thing or do other manufacturers do that too? i wonder if i couldn't retrofit mine into an arrangement like that?

i was also noticing that the lund's have each seat going directly down to the floor. on my old sears there is space under the seat so i can run rods, store anchors, etc.. can you get under your seat? i guess if you need to mount a seat you just drill into that wood top, whereas i have to get one of those clamping styles that go around & under the bench?

sure is a nice setup, must be brand new?

I don't know if you could cut that back bench on your aluminum and make it a split setup...So far, I've only seen Lunds do it on those smaller models...I think Lowe's might do it as well, Smokercrafts might too. Not sure, but it is easy to run the 15hp like that...I can't get under any of my seats, but thats because they are all blocked off and the seats are loaded with styrofoam to keep it really bouyant...That boat, without a motor or anyone in it or any gear can be pushed through about two inches of water...With the motor up and a few people in it, it might draw 5 or 6 inches, so it's really bouyant and nice for shallow water...

There is also a small little wedge for a seat up in front...Kinda fun to sit in when cruising....

I've rigged it with dual Scotty electric downriggers, dual rod holders, GPS, Garmin sonar, VHF, a remote throttle control for the kicker along with a tie bar so we can troll from the helm, and a wireless 55# thrust bow mount Motorguide. During cold weather fishing, we have the full canvas up and carry a small propane heater that keeps it cozy in the cabin. It's great!=d>

Smokercraft 182 Pro Mag. 150hp Yamaha,8hp Yamaha kicker,65# Minnkota, Custom canvas, Dual finders,Dual "Deadwells",I don't keep many fish but when I do they go into the "Deadwell". My wife and kids love it especially my 4 year old daughter,she loves to fish. Will post pics when I figure it out.

Oh the boat is working on it's second year, so its still pretty new...Pics don't show it, but it does have some minor wear and tear on it on the inside and outside of the boat
