:jocolor: 8-[ I hate wasting time getting down the lake. I want to fish not travel!

With the price of gas now ,I think I might cut off a couple of the outboards. I figure that each bass costs close to $400.00. Trolling has always been a little tough. Not many trout will follow a Wedding Ring at 120 knots. ..... This is one fast boat. LMFAO!!! =d> It will be one surprised catfish being caught at 150mph!

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

How fast does that go with the 25hp? I'm looking at getting either a 15hp or 25hp to replace my old merc 9.8.

I have an old Gregor H-34, I'll try and find a photo of it, I think I have one from when we took it to Banks several years ago.
I have a 14 ft. Valco that looks exactly like your Gregor. I just bought a 18 HP Nissan 4-stroke and that thing flies. Most of the time don't have it more than 3/4 throttle. On smooth water my speedometer on the fish finder says 30 mph, don't know if it's true or not since it isn't GPS.

A buddy of mine has a place on Big Lake. He took his Gregor and Polished it with aluminium polish and a buffer. It really came out nice. The type of alloy they use sure does make an incredible old boat shine.

this is my perch killer. 8foot ODC classic heavily modifyed. 30#minn troller the standing bar is not going to work. but i did put the seat back on and got a taller seat post. i will see how it works out at battle ground tomorrow night. the platform is awsome and the seat being at the back of my knees will act as a leaning bar,. let you know tomorrow.

Hi all, i'm new to the site and wanted to show off my first boat. Still pretty new to fishing and boating, but so far i'm having a blast. Got a great deal on a pair of downriggers so all i need now is a trolling motor. ahahah talk about getting the cart before the horse. Anyway, name is Tim. timmydogg is an old nickname, so no i'm not gangsta.
