Drift Boats

I am currently shopping around and have narrowed my choices down to two brands, both within a few hundred dollars of each other... The dilema I am having is deciding in Aluminum or Fiberglass?

I really like the Clackacraft 16' Salmon Steelhead Guide Boat.
Pros: Fiberglass is light and seem to be able to manuever better with the hull design.
Cons: Can't really customize it much

And my other choice is a Willies 16' Aluminum Boat.
Pros: Tons of extras for the price. Cooler paint options.
Cons: Heavier.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Either of those would be excellent choices. I think I would go for the Clack though.... they are just a hardcore drifting machine. If it is your first boat you may consider going with the alum as it is much more durable and can take the abuse... then again, clackacraft's slogan is "Fear no rock".

Whichever you choose you will be happy, those are 2 of the best DB companies around.

Go with the Willie you'll be so much happier. You don't have to worry about rocks nearly as much.
