Just sold my 12ft starcraft and am in the market for a 14 or 15 foot gregor. Before i start looking, just wanna know if the boat would be able to make it on waters like lake roosevelt or even puget sound.

Inputs needed, thanks in advance

I fish Roosevelt a lot and I've seen people a half mile across the reservoir in 12' boats with 3 "large" adults and about 6" of free board. Don't know which model you're considering but I'd say a 14' or 15' would be fine as long as you know your limits and choose your days. Winds can turn a nice day into a bad day real fast if your boat isn't capable of handling the conditions. Some days you can go anywhere you want, others you might need to stay in sheltered areas.

What's worse with folks in "rowboats with an outboard" is from a distance you can't even see them and is something I've experienced far more often than I care to.
