READY TO PUT YOUR SKILLS TO TEST

Im a local bass fisherman looking to put together a small BASS FISHING SHOWDOWN ON JUNE 30TH 2007 ... Beaver Lake @6AM TILL 1PM .. ( RAIN , SNOW , OR WIND) ...

THIS will be a very simple and easy to compete ..

rules are as follow : $20.00 buy in .... only payout is first place ...only one bass (your biggest will be weighed) ..

no live bait (Honor system), a person can fish from boat or from shore ...all fish must be hooked in mouth (no snagging) ..If an angler bring in a dead fish you lose 1 pound off total weight ...

angler must start fishing @ 6 am and be back at park no later than 1pm ..if late to the weigh in will be deducted 1pound from total weight ...

ALL buy in take place prior to start time and cut off is 5:55 am ...

there must be atleast 5 anglers show up in order to make it worth it ...(if less then 5 angler tourny is called off by default)

this lil tourney is simply to get a few guys that invest alot of there time and money in the sport we love a oppertunity to compete against local anglers (MAYBE THIS BE THE START SOMETHING FUN & EDUCATIONAL).. if there is good enough turn out as a group we can discuss future competions and different lake .. i chose this lake because is has alot of bass and good location ...

The first place winner will take the whole pot , there no additional profit to be made here ... if anyone has a good scale (digital) and camara that would be helpful ...

I ask that everyone show the respect to eachother that they want in return , give a angler at least 20 feet of distance between each other .. (if there are any disputes or issues we will handle them as a group and vote on it )

no one will assume any responsablity for injuries, accidents etc .. (this is no different than fishing any good ol day by other youself ) FISH AT YOUR OWN RISK PERIOD !!

Im also looking for atleast two vounteers to help host this ( need everyones help to get this going, im open to all suggestions and any input ...

WOW WHAT A GREAT WAY TO GATHER A GREAT GROUP OF ANGLERS AND GIVE A PERSON A CHANCE TO SHOWCASE THERE TALENT, PROMOTE LOCAL LAKES , AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER ......(ALL FISH WILL BE RELEASED AFTER WIEGHING AND PICS ...
