Boutarga Anyone?

Post by racfish » Thu Jun 22, 2017 10:46 am

I just ordered two Jumbo Boutargas from Canada. Boutarga is dried ,salted Silver Mullet roe. I grate it on eggs or pasta. Its also just sliced thin and served with Greek olives and a touch of lime juice. I eat it right off the skein.

I'd hit it.You'll need a very large net or Halibut harpoon for me.

I have never heard of it. Where is the country of origin?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Been with Dad. He's in a nursing home after his trache operation. I visit him daily. Between the surgery and the dementia I feel I have to be there for him. He's always been there for me.
