Yup and it was not fun, well it is but it aint if ya get my point...the only other worse spot would be white pass above the oak creek game station now thats a crazy place during the season,a kind of place you see people wearing there seatbelts and using turn signals while driving on gravel roads in the mountains SCARY,"which is a cool place to go and watch them feed the elk by the hundreds just off hwy 12 and you can even spot the rams up on the hillside sometimes, obviously this is not during the hunting season so its cool to take the family"

Last season was alright out there lost 4 arrows with no elk to show#-o . This year me and some others are going to tree stand hunt just off the 1110 and 1117 before the wash out. did see a few hunters but not as many as in gun season. Hopes are high for elk this year. When you were talking about the I-5 thought you were referring to the elk traffic. :-$ Last year we were on them every day we went. Heard after heard would cross in front of us all through out the day. I like all the hunters out there pushing the heards around. Gives plenty of opps.:rendeer:
