Live bait near area 8-2

Post by JuLeeKea » Fri May 06, 2016 9:41 am

Is anyone aware of where to buy live bait around area 8-2? I know of a spot at the Edmonds boat launch, but I don't launch from there. I've looked online but found nothing. I'm open to catching my own too, I just don't have any experience or knowledge on how.

The bait box on the south east beach of Whidbey Island sales live bait. It's .5 mi north of Possession Piont

Thanks for the info. Do they have bait all day? Or do they sell out in the morning?

You really need to call them. Live bait is a hit or miss thing most times and no guarantees.

I have to agree with Larry, with Salmon fishing canceled for the foreseeable future, they may not want to keep a large supply on hand. In a normal year I have never found them out of bait.
