Why are you starting another thread that we already have in place? #-o We have the "LINGCOD 2008" thread and also "I'm Armed And..." thread...we don't need a 3rd lingcod thread repeating the same info...it's good to keep it all in 1 or 2 threads at MAX.

Hey I recognize some of you guys from the bass forum.
I dig the lingcod fishing. A buddy took me out the day after the opener. I caught 6 and lost one before he caught his first one. It was pretty dang funny. We ended up catching 10 total and I lost the one right under the boat. All the fish except the first one were sub-legal. I figured out how they wanted that jig though. I would pick the 4oz jig up about 6ft off the bottom then SLOWLY lower it back down. Every fish I caught ate it on the drop. I hope I can get out again in June. I think there will be more big fish up shallow then.
