Coho worms?

I caught this jack today in the salt and when I fillets it, there were these worms all through its meat, some in the belly and imbedded in the liver. Any clue? I ended up tossing it. Just seemed unappetizing after watching these guys wiggle around. I got some video too. http://youtu.be/ichbA0ZtLmA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry, pic won't load. They are coiled and straight. No tapioca balls. Last year most silvers I caught in the cowlitz had those!

All salmon have worms (even the ones sold in stores). Should have PM'ed me. I would have picked up the fish at your house. I've been craving for some grilled coho.

I've never seen them like that through the meat? They were in there thick like the pin bones. Right after I cut the fillet, they started wiggling out. What are they? Parasitic?

After watching the video, it's Anisakis. Yea it's a parasitic worm. Fairly common in androgynous fish. It's not a problem unless you eat the fish raw or under cook it. Even if you ate it raw, the worm would die in your digestive track, but you can get a pretty bad reaction still.

It's definitely unsightly to see that wriggling around in the flesh of the fish and quickly turns off my appetite.
