tip ups

as a MN ice fisher, i am still new to this area, can anyone tell me the rules on tipups? do i have to have a second line permit added to my WA licence for a tipup along with my pole in ? thanks !

I believe that a 2 pole endorsement will allow you to have any combination of rods/tip-ups not to exceed both of them.

As I was told, if using two lines, whether rods, tip-ups, or a combination thereof, if the body of water allows a two pole endorsement, you must have that endorsement to fish more than one offering at a time.
