What happened to the Golden Trout thread?

I’m so sorry guys. It’s my fault. I found the Golden trout thread loaded by a spammer with porn links and porn pictures early this morning and in the process of cleaning up the thread I accidently deleted the whole thread. I banned the user and moved the thread to the mod forum so that I could clean it up. When I went back in to check and make sure that it had moved I found that it had moved and left a copy posted in the original thread. I deleted the copy and in the process I deleted the whole Golden Trout thread.
I’m sorry and I’ll pay closer attention next time.

I almost deleted a thread like that when I moved a thread and left that 'shadow' thing. But after experimenting for awhile I figured out it would delete everything, so had to leave the shadow. Oh well, that's how we learn.

I was going with bow's and Kokanee. Not sure about any Cutties, they certainly could be but hard to tell hidden under the camouflage of perma frost.

It was the Gal's family that fished, I kinda doubt that she would personally know. Maybe..... I was looking at that small white strip on the lower fin...fish on the right side.

I see 9 kokanee, those would be the ones with the forked tail. The rest look like trout, can't really tell what kind without a good head shot on them.

I agree.... I'm wondering, char.... due to the white strip on fin.... eastern brook. 9 koke, 5 eastern brook, 1 rainbow, my guess. Lk Bonaparte.

added later: copied from weekender report...Bonaparte Lake near Tonasket for 10- to 12-inch eastern brook trout and kokanee.

Hello, I am new to the forum, so please forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong place. I caught this fish last summer at Lake Sammamish, and I can't figure out what species it is, can anyone help me ID this fish?

It has a big mouth so isn't a peamouth. Must be a squawfish. KILL IT and feed it to the Eagles.

Agreed! Those are salmon smolt eating machines. Very aggressive. Every one of those killed saves hundreds of salmon and probably some cutts. If eagles aren't nearby, bury it in your garden, good fertilizer and it isn't going to waste. (if you feel the need to not waste the fish)

Officially that are called northern pike minnow, aka squawfish. I call them crab bait, also good for cutthroat and lakers.
