"The Mayfield Open"
Washington's Largest Tiger Musky Tournament.
$2,800.00 payed out to 1st - 5th place.
Plus Double Option: Pays 1st - 3rd place 100% payback.
Plus Triple Option: Pays 1st - 3rd place 100% payback.
Plus $100.00 added money (courtesy of Mostly Muskies Charters) to the largest musky of the tournament.
Plus $25.00 added money (courtesy of Auburn Sports & Marine) to the first musky registered each day.
Plus Over $4,000.00 in merchandise prizes in raffle.
The registration forms are downloadable from the CMA website at this link:
http://cascademuskyassociation.com/
Just click on 5th Annual Mayfield Open then Mayfield Open Registration Packet.
They need to be mailed to me at: Mark Wells, 3212 17th St SW, Puyallup, WA 98373 or bring it completed to a CMA general meeting.
Each team member needs to fill out a Release of Liability.
This is an Open tournament so everyone is welcome.
Mayfield Resort is offering a 20% discount off 'winter' rates. This is a heck of a deal folks. About half the cost of sumer rates.
Lodging will include vehicle parking and boat launch privileges.
Also, the Lakehouse restuarant will be open so food will be available.
This tournament has a 35 boat limit this year and the lake boundaries have been expanded to accomodate the increase.
We also have a very experienced musky angler as our judge this year.
Make sure you pick up your tournament banners ahead of time as this is a WDFW requirement.
Also, an orange signal flag and remember your cell phone for calling the judge when you net your musky.
Any questions, give me a holler.

Counting down the days till the tourny. Getting the boat ready and gear set up. Gonna be a nice vacation. Think it will be the first vacation without the kids since the wedding.

I'm still gathering all the sponsor info,we've had a few hop on at last minute.
Got strong backing from so many sponsors that they won't even come close to fitting on the tournament
flyer,anything from Rollie and Helen's,Jack Link's,Pete Maina....you see where I'm going.
Anyhow, thanks for keeping this near the top. This section is popular, which is to be expected
with so many things going on this summer. I'll get a much more detailed list, just been so dang busy.

Great picture from up above the resort Rich, how far up were you? Looks like you guys have a good list of raffle donors, hope your tournament and raffle go good. The more money we three muskie clubs in Washington state can raise to help the sport of fishing, tiger muskies, the WDFW and kids fishing the better. Hope the weather turns good for you guys too. Figured I'd bump you one more time since your tourny is this weekend.

Can't wait, packing the last of the food this morning. Got all the tackle set up a couple of days ago. Rich actually asked me "do we really need all that tackle?" Thats like asking Imelda Marcos to go on vacation with only one bag and two pairs of shoes.[lol]

Yea, but your tackle bags are bigger than our travel bags...
I'm looking forward to seeing everybody again. We will be setting up in the banquet room above the store at the resort.
If I dont see ya there... Have a Great Weekend!

Robbie Tobeck. Dan Lazzeroni has also donated his time and guide service for fishing true muskies.
Plenty of other goodies, stop on by and say hello
