Non-resident fishing fees in Oregon?

Post by Larry3215 » Fri Dec 02, 2016 9:47 pm

Any Wa guys bought a non-resident fishing license for Oregon recently?

We are thinking of trying for some Sturgeon on the Willamette in Portland at some point. It looks like I need the following:

Columbia R Basin Endorsement (When purchased with license) $9.75

One Day Angling $19.00

Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Permit (Motorized Boats) $22

Do I also need the Adult Combined Angling Tag for $55 or does the one day license have its own tag?

Anything else I would need?

Thanks!

Wow! I'm was raised in PDX and I go down and fish the Willy for Springers almost every year but I didn't make it this year. I fish with old pals who live around PDX but I don't need to get a OR license when we fish the C. I did moor my boat down there at Freds for two years in the Spring, 2006-7.

OR non-res license fees have always been steep but $19 is a big raise. I think it was like $12 in 2015. The one day license has its own tag for salmon but you cant keep Gators.... just CNR so I don't think you need a tag. I didn't know about the 22 buck deal. If you go down there you can launch at Freds Marina and also buy your license there. Better to launch at Freds, Cathedral Park under the St Johns bridge is bad for break ins.
