Anyone ever heard of this Knot 2 Kicky leader

You Pike/Muskie guys may want to check this out. I ran across an ad for this "Knot 2 Kinky" wire leader and wondered if anyone had tried it yet? It is a stretchable tie-able wire leader from what this add says. It costs a little more then the Fluoro I used last year but it may last longer then my Fluoro does. I ended up replacing my Fluoro leaders every fishing trip last year after I got bit off using 80 lb. Fluoro and lost what would have been my biggest Pike ever. So a stainless steel leader that is tie-able might be the hot ticket. I have not tried it, so I can't recommend it yet. Maybe somebody else has and could comment on it. Here is the ad I found;

Did you buy any of these leaders? Or just use the knot? If you got bit off on a 80lb flouro, maybe that leader had a couple nicks u didnt see? I use 80lb leaders and have never broke off a fish. I have had my braid thats tied to the leader break off or come loose due to a bad knot tie. I use 130lb flouro leaders for throwing big dawgs or crankbaits and still have never broke a leader. As for knots I use a fishermans knot or clinch knot. I just double up the loop at the swivel spin the line 7-8 times and come up through the big loop then cinch it down with a little spit. Those kinky knot leaders, i don't know about the plastic swivels though. I can't see those having the same strength as metal ones. See ya, Todd

I have not tried it yet and was looking for somebody that had tried it for some input before I spend money on something I'm not sure I will like. I have tried another brand of 28 pound tie-able wire and so far it seems ok, but it is not the type that stretches. I had never lost a fish with the 80lb. fluoro before that 1 cut me off nor have I since. I had just put a new leader on that day so I know it had not been damaged. I could see in my leader after I lost the fish where it had cut the leader half in two and then it split down the middle for about a 1/2" about 2" to 3 " in front of my swimbait and that's why I wanted to try some other leader mat, although I still use fluorocarbon as well.

I personally would not use any of the knots on their website and for sure never the Clinch knot. I use my Fish-N-Fool knot I invented for 90% of my terminal knot needs or a modified Grinner knot that I developed (I call it the Grin-N-Fool Knot) for super heavy Fluoro and wire. I don't use My Fish-N-Fool knot on these heavy lines because it tends to not tighten up good and the knot ends up forming on the side of the hook or lure making it run poorly. It's still very strong, but just doesn't fish well. It's the best knot for everything else though and it's the only knot that the line failed and never the knot on the "Knot Wars" TV show that I won. Although he doesn't tie it quite correctly. The way I hold the lines makes it faster and easier to tie and I use 8 wraps up and 8 back down.

The only other knots I ever tie is a snell knot for bent eyed hooks (like the Gammy Finesse hooks) and a Palomar knot for dropshot rigs.
