Email that says item added to followed topic

Aaron,

I know you’ve been working on some issues with people’s difficulties logging in, etc.

I’ve noticed lately that via my iPhone, (Safari) when I click on an NWFR email saying that there has been a post on my followed thread, etc.
I click on the email.. it used to link straight away to the thread. Now it goes to the login page. I then have to login (again) and THEN it goes to the page which has a choice of latest fishing reports, hot reports, etc.
I then have to find my way back to the forum, and then back to ‘Active topics’ and then search for the thread that I was following.

Don’t know if anyone else has seen that?

That happens if you're not logged in already or if you're unlucky enough to be having the login problem. Are you having problems getting logged in or staying logged in?

So, in this case the email link took me directly here. I had logged in previously this AM. I see now that is an issue of being logged in.

I don’t have any issues with being able to log in.
About a year ago I went through a whole big thing with Cookies and logging in, and you got my system sorta scrubbed, and all good.

I do know that I would NEVER log out for any reason, so if I close my browser/the page which is open to NWFR, then I didn’t think that logs me out? Maybe that is an obvious logout?
Anyway, most similar forums... I can close the webpage and remain logged in.
I will watch that move on this end and get back to you.

Some forums/sites have a time out set for login after a set time of inactivity. Don't know if that's the case here or not.
